Sedative Prescription Policy
Cheddar Medical Centre does not prescribe sedating medications, such as diazepam, for:
- Dental procedures
- MRI scans or other investigations
- Fear of flying (flight anxiety)
This approach is based on national guidance, patient safety considerations, and prescribing responsibilities.
